Karla M. Rodgers

Karla M. Rodgers, 56, of Ellwood City, formerly of Mars, died Friday afternoon at her home.

Born in West Covina, Calif. on March 17, 1960, she was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte Polich.

Karla had worked as a clerk in several area convenience stores and also worked at area restaurants.

She was a peacetime Navy veteran and was a member of Mars VFW Post 7505.

Surviving are a son, Jason Rodgers and his wife, Sarah of Evans City; a daughter, Sarah A. Rodgers of California; and two brothers, John and Matt Polich both in California.

RODGERS — Friends of Karla M. Rodgers, who died Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars.

Services will follow at 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jeff Lawther, of the Mars Alliance Church, will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA.
