V. Mae Wagner
V. Mae Wagner, 96, formerly of South Camp Run Road, Fombell, passed away Sunday.
She had currently been residing with Sterling and Cherie Wagner of Fombell.
Born Oct. 9, 1919, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Eva Rassman Vollrath.
Mae had been a very active member of the Camp Run United Presbyterian Church. She served as an elder, teacher, superintendent and youth sponsor. She also was a director and teacher of Bible school and the junior and women's missionary circles. She also was a dedicated volunteer for many years for Meals on Wheels and area nursing homes.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Sterling (Cherie) Wagner of Fombell, George (Sandy) Wagner of Moon Township, Pa., and Mary Eva (Ed) Shever of Ellwood City; her grandchildren, Eric (Renae), Autumn, Kip, Tad (Jen) and Kevin Wagner, Kirk Shever, Kelsey (Chris) Suttles and Tara (Brian) Phillips; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Otto S. Wagner, who died July 8, 2000; three brothers, Robert, George and John Vollrath; two sisters, Mary Himes and Marguerite Klingensmith; and one infant granddaughter.
WAGNER — A memorial service for V. Mae Wagner, who died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Camp Run United Presbyterian Church, 489 Church Road, Harmony.At Mae's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, 100 S. High St., Zelienople, PA 16063 or to the Camp Run United Presbyterian Church.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E.
