M. Jean Long

M. Jean Long, 78, of Marienville, Pa., died Saturday at Snyder Memorial Health Care Center in Marienville.

Jean was born May 30, 1938, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Andrew C. Bullions Jr., and Marjorie C. Galbreath Bullions.

She was a 1957 graduate of Winfield High School.

On Aug. 27, 1966, she was married to Gary E. Long in Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Sarver. He preceded her in death Sept. 5, 1996.

Jean worked as a nursing assistant at Jefferson Manor in Brookville, and Snyder Memorial Health Care Center in Marienville. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Marienville. Jean belonged to the Presbyterian Women's Club and was an elder for the church.

She is survived by two sons, Bradley Long and his wife, Heidi, of Mount Pleasant, Mich., and Eric Long and his companion, Michele Zug of Marienville, Pa. Also surviving are one brother, Andrew Bullions III and his wife, Regina, of Pelzer, S.C.; one sister, Roberta Vaudo and her husband, Cosmos, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Erica and Kevin Long; and one stepgrandchild, Josh Zug.

LONG — There will be no public visitation for M. Jean Long, who died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016.A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Marienville with the Rev. Boyd Edmondson officiating.The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Presbyterian Women's Club of First Presbyterian Church in Marienville, P.O.
