Ida Mae Crosby
Ida Mae Crosby, 86, of Chicora died Saturday in the Ridgeview Boarding Home in Fenelton following an illness.
Born Sept. 3, 1930, in Hannastown, Braddock Hills, Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Joseph A. Crosby and Pearl Mae Boehmer Crosby.
After graduation from Karns City High School, she worked several years in the office of Kaufmann's Department Store.
She is survived by one brother, Richard W. Crosby and his wife, Jean, of Sarver; her nieces, Patricia J. Crosby, Deborah J. Sapienza, Donna J. White and Carolyn J. Nowak; and her nephews, Thomas W. Wolford, Richard W. Crosby Jr., Gary W. Crosby and Darel W. Crosby.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jane Wolford; one brother, Joseph E. Crosby; and one niece, Carol Gealy.
CROSBY — Friends of Ida Mae Crosby, who died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Pistorius officiatingInterment will follow at the Hillview Cemetery, Kepples Corners, routes 68 and 268, Chicora.
