Firing cane lands 2 gun dealers in jailKEY WEST, Fla. — Two firearms dealers who ran a store in the Florida Keys have been sentenced to prison for illegally possessing a gun disguised as a walking cane.Court documents show that Thomas Joseph Willi, 52, and Jarvis Nelson Osorio, 37, each will serve more than two years in prison. Their store on Big Pine Key, Outbreak Ordnance, was fined $500,000.The sentences last week came after Willi and Osorio pleaded guilty to illegally receiving and possessing a .38-caliber gun that looks like a walking cane. Such concealable or dangerous weapons are tightly controlled under the 1934 National Firearms Act.

Baby boy born on Mass. TurnpikeFRAMINGHAM, Mass. — A woman has given birth to a baby boy on the Massachusetts Turnpike.State police say they received a call Sunday night from a Framingham couple, saying the woman was in labor.The couple had been driving east and pulled into a parking lot.State police say troopers and Boston EMS responded. They were unable to get the woman to the hospital before she gave birth to a baby boy in the back of an ambulance.
