Glenn Fredrick Raub

Glenn Fredrick Raub, 75, of Cabot passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born Aug. 5, 1941, in Sarver, he was the son of William Fredrick Raub and Esther Lyda Parson Raub.

Glenn had worked as a carpenter. He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Cabot and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 922. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and square dancing.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Stegman Raub; his son, Adam F. Raub; two daughters, Rachel K. (David) McAdams and Rebecca A. (Bradley) Chiprean; three sisters, Margaret Harvey, Patricia Klaus and Susan (Larry) Brink; six grandchildren, Gabriella, Benjamin, Jonathan, Emma, Samuel and Anya McAdams; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, William, James, Eugene, Harold, David and T. Dale Raub; and two sisters, Anna Lou Daum and Charlotte Desmond.

RAUB — Friends of Glenn Fredrick Raub, who died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Vincent G. Stegman, CSSp, and the Rev. Mark Pattock, OFM Cap., officiating.Interment will follow at the Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Cheswick.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Crispin Fund, 315 Stoney Hollow Road Cabot, PA or to the Rev.
