Daniel Frederick Hermann

Daniel Frederick Hermann of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Boyers, joined his loved ones Monday in heaven.

Daniel was born May 21, 1951, to Edward and Josephine Hermann. He attended the Clarence Brown Education Center in Butler. In 1987, Danny received the Goodwill Industry Achiever of the Year award as their most excellent trainee.

He worked at a local Sarasota restaurant, before he began his career working in the cafeteria at the Ringling School of Art.

Danny loved music, bowling and, most of all, being “Uncle Danny.” He held a special place in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. The loss will forever leave a hole in our hearts.

Danny is survived by his brother, Edward Hermann of Sarasota, who took excellent care of him; his brother, Kenneth Hermann of Pittsburgh; and his sister-in-law, Susan (Kurt) Hermann of Boyers. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Danielle, Ashley, Travis, Kara, Aaron and Joshua; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.

His mother, Josephine Hermann, preceded him in death Aug. 31, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his father and his younger brother, Kurt.

HERMANN — The family of Daniel Frederick Hermann, who died Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.
