This morning’s rain brought a rash of accidents in Butler County.

By 7:30 a.m., six accidents were reported to the 911 dispatch center. No medical transports were required.

In one of the accidents, a vehicle was reported overturned on Powell Road in Cranberry Township at 7:08 a.m.

The calls began at 5:41 a.m., when three vehicles were involved in an accident along Route 8, near Litman Road, in Butler Township. Emergency crews cleared the scene at 6:04 a.m.

At 6:39 a.m., an accident on an Interstate 79 ramp connecting to Route 228 in Cranberry Township was reported. Aside from no injuries being reported, no further information was available.

At 6:46 a.m., a vehicle went over an embankment off Lutz Road in Jackson Township.

At 7:15 a.m., another three vehicle accident occurred along Evans City Road in Jackson Township.

At 7:22 a.m., a minor accident occurred on Constitution Avenue in Connoquenessing.
