Ice cream recalled due to mislabelingCONESTOGA — Pennsylvania’s Turkey Hill Dairy is recalling some mislabeled packages of ice cream.The dairy based in Conestoga, Lancaster County, said some of its 48-ounce containers that say they contain Dutch Chocolate Premium Ice Cream actually contain Rocky Road Premium Ice Cream.That’s a problem because Rocky Road contains almond and egg ingredients that could pose problems for people allergic to those items.The dairy is recalling all packages of Dutch Chocolate ice cream that have Rock Road lids and have a sell-by date of May 23, 2017.The dairy has told stores to pull the ice cream from shelves. There have been no reports of illness.

President visits to talk innovationWASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will travel to Pittsburgh on Thursday to host a conference on the future of innovation in this country and around the world.The White House Frontiers Conference is being co-hosted by University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.It will focus on building U.S. capacity in science, technology and innovation “and the new technologies, challenges and goals that will continue to shape the 21st century and beyond.”The president is to deliver a speech and participate in a panel discussion.

Facebook offers business versionNEW YORK — You probably already use Facebook at work. Now, Facebook is creating a separate version aimed at helping you do actual work.Facebook is launching a communications tool for businesses, nonprofits and other organizations. Called Workplace, the platform is ad-free and not connected to users’ existing Facebook accounts. Businesses sign up as an organization and pay a monthly fee based on the number of users. It’s free for nonprofits and educational institutions.
