Timothy S. Kerr

Timothy S. Kerr, 47, of Butler was called home to God on Monday.

He was born Sept. 2, 1969, in Butler, the son of the late Thomas Kerr and Eileen Young Kerr of Pittsburgh.

Tim worked for the YMCA doing Armco Park maintenance. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his grandson and was the best handyman around. He loved helping anyone in need and always had a smile on his face, especially after walking his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day, two days before his death.

Surviving are his mother, Eileen Kerr of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Heather Kerr Brandon and her husband, Pressley, of Ford City, and Suellen Leitch of Slippery Rock; two grandchildren, Kaleb and Briella; and two brothers, Kevin Kerr of Butler and Mark Kerr of Pittsburgh.

He was preceded in death by his father.

KERR — Friends of Timothy S. Kerr, who died Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be private.Contributions may be made to the Young Funeral Home, P.O.
