Richard Paul Stevenson, 69, of Butler passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 31, 1947, in Butler, the son of the late Harry and Goldie (Bowser) Stevenson.

Rich was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. He had worked as the meat manager at Friedman's.

Surviving are two sisters, Beatrice (Charles) Burns and Lois Callihan; his brother, William (Glenda) Stevenson; two nieces and their husbands who cared for him, Becky and Dennis Miller and Goldie and Jerry Deal; and many other nieces, nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.

STEVENSON — Friends of Richard Paul Stevenson, who died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
