Michael Kenderes

Michael George Kenderes, 78, formerly of Wall, Allegheny County, passed away peacefully Thursday at his home in Connoquenessing surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born Feb. 15, 1938, in Columbia Hospital, the son of the late Stephen and Minnie Merrick Kenderes.

He was the beloved husband of 57 years of Beatrice R. McCarrison Kenderes; the loving father to Michelle (Raymond) Eppinger and Marcella (Jeff) Kenderes; the grandfather of Justin and Jonathan Eppinger; the brother of Marilyn (the late John) Schmitt, Shirley Kenderes, Carol (Denny) Swanson, Suzi (Mike), Steve (Lucille) Kenderes, Larry Kenderes and Jimmy (Debbie) Kenderes.

He also is survived by his nieces and nephews.

He worked at Woodward in Mars as a sheer operator for 30 years. He retired from there in 2001.

He was an avid sports fan, and he enjoyed listening to the oldies and reading the paper.
