Lisa Foyle Friedrich

Lisa Foyle Friedrich, 58, of Washington, formerly of Zelienople, died unexpectedly Monday at Canonsburg General Hospital.

She was born June 6, 1958, in Wilkinsburg, Pa., the daughter of Robert and Margaretta “Peg” Weinfurther Foyle of Zelienople.

She was a graduate of Seneca Valley High School and Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science.

Mrs. Friedrich was formerly the assistant manager at Matthew's Hallmark at the Washington Crown Center for many years. She also taught swimming and was the manager of the YMCA's pool and the Washington Park Pool for many years.

She was a gifted seamstress, enjoyed knitting, reading and any and all sorts of arts and crafts. Mrs. Friedrich was a member of the Waterdam Church in McMurray.

On July 30, 1983, she married John “Jack” Friedrich, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Lauren Friedrich, and her son, J. Leo Friedrich, both of Washington; two brothers, Andrew (Debra) Foyle of Fairview and Douglas Foyle of Zelienople; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

FRIEDRICH — Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Wilson Avenue at East Katherine Avenue, Washington.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Wilson officiating. Burial will be private.Memorial contributions may be made to Operation Christmas Child in care of Samaritan's Purse, P.O.
