Catherine Baker
Catherine Baker, 82, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
She was born Aug. 23, 1933, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Cray.
Catherine was a member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, the American Legion and the Italian Society of Butler. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, and spending time with her family.
She had been a telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Co.
Surviving are her husband, Paul “Jay” Baker of Butler; her daughter, Cathy Baker of Butler; her son, John and his wife, Patty Baker, of Butler; her granddaughter, Rachelle Baker of Butler; her niece and nephew, Annie Ashwood of Florida and James Ausem of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Jennifer (Buffy) Ogorchock; two brothers; and two sisters.
BAKER — Friends of Catherine Baker, who died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016, will be received from 6 p.m. until the time of the blessing service at 8 p.m. today at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev.
