Mary Therese Fisher

Mary Therese Fisher, 59, of Butler died Tuesday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 2, 1956, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late William J. Fisher and Anne (Zemyan) Fisher.

After high school, Mary graduated from Edinboro University, and she completed her graduate studies at Boston University, where she had also worked as a library aide.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, created her own custom cards, was very generous and kind to others and had always looked for the good in others.

Surviving are her sisters, Andrea Fisher, Anna Marie Sheehan and Barbara Holler; her cat, Micah; two nieces; and two nephews.

FISHER — Friends of Mary Therese Fisher, who died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul, 146 N.
