Baby-sitter training setMARS — The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will offer the Safe Sitter baby-sitter’s training from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Adams Township Municipal Building, 690 Valencia Road.The class is for youths ages 11 to 15 and will emphasize prevention, safety, responsibility, leadership and professionalism.Registration is required. Costs will include books and materials. Library hosts flea market Sept. 17FREEPORT — The Freeport Library, 428 Market St., will have a fundraising flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 17.The sale will feature household items, toys, jewelry, collectibles and seasonal decor.
