Deborah Sue (Knox) Davison
Deborah Sue (Knox) Davison, 61, of Evans City passed away Monday while surrounded by her family at the Valencia Woods Nursing Home in Valencia.
Born Dec. 11, 1954, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Clarence “Bub” and Wilma (Zattiero) Knox.
For more than 30 years, Debbie provided wonderful home child care and cared for each and every child as if they were her own. During her free time, she loved baking and was known for her delicious and beautifully decorated sugar cookies. She also enjoyed decorating her home for all of the holidays and celebrating with her family.
But above all, Debbie will be most remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her three grandchildren. She lived for her family. Debbie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 41 years, Craig A. Davison Sr., who she married May 24, 1975; two loving children, Missy Riding and her husband, Bill, of Butler and Craig A. Davison Jr. and his wife, Brandy, of Evans City; three adored grandchildren, Alex Davison, Kileigh Davison and Jordan Davison, all of Evans City; six siblings, Clarence “Junie” Knox and his wife, Sue, of Evans City, Vicky Riddle and her husband, Carl, of Harmony, Cheryl Knox of Warner Robins, Ga., John Robert Knox and his wife, Joy, of Callery, Richard Knox and his wife, Karen, of Mars and Randy Knox of Connoquenessing; her mother-in-law, Mary Katherine Hill of Zelienople; her sister-in-law, Carol Lee Fogel and her husband, Glenn, of Beaver; two brothers-in-law, Glenn Davison and his wife, Pauline, of Virginia and Ronald Cooney of Evans City; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nonie Zatterio; and her father-in-law, Arthur G. Davison.
DAVISON — The family of Deborah Sue (Knox) Davison, who died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, will welcome friends from 4 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 8 p.m. Thursday at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E. Main St., Evans City, with the Rev. Peter C. DeVries officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Debbie's honor in support of Friends Helping Friends, P.O.
