Brent Alexander Hooks

Brent Alexander Hooks, 34, of Cabot passed away Saturday at UPMC Presbyterian.

Born June 7, 1982, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Thomas Hooks and Michelle (Flanders) Casey.

Brent served in the U.S. Air Force from 2002 to 2010, first as an aircraft mechanic and later becoming a flying crew chief. He went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in economics from Slippery Rock University.

He worked as a material analyst for Iron Mountain Mine in Boyers. He was a member of the New Life Christian Ministries in Saxonburg.

Brent enjoyed playing video games with his kids and fishing. He loved to make people smile and was always helping others.

Surviving are his wife Elicia (Bayne) Hooks, who he married Aug. 29, 2002; his sons, “munchkins,” James Matthew Hooks, David Joseph Hooks and Michael Isaiah Hooks; his father, Thomas (Jackie) Hooks; his mother, Michelle Flanders (Joe) Casey; his paternal grandparents, Glen (Jean) Hooks; maternal grandparents, Ed (Janet) Flanders; three sisters, Renee Casey, Shannon Casey and Jessica Daniels; two brothers, Thomas Hooks and Russell Hooks; his stepbrother, Rob Vandenburgh; and his sister-in-law, Trista Rodgers.

HOOKS — Friends of Brent Alexander Hooks, who died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, may gather from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the New Life Christian Ministries, 139 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, followed by a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
