Stephen Michael Gribschaw, 40, of Slippery Rock passed away suddenly Thursday.

Steve was born on Dec. 19, 1975, in McKeesport, Pa.

He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Mary (Sivak) Gribschaw; his sister, Angela (Gribschaw) and her husband, Ross Marker; his beloved goddaughter, Katherine, and nephews, Nicholas and Benjamin; his sister, Michelle (Gribschaw) and her husband, Jason Mulcahy; his nephew, Landon; and his grandparents, Stephen and Theresa Gribschaw.

He also is survived by uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by Michael and Mary (Keenan) Sivak.

He was the nephew of the late Carol Ann (Sivak) Norris.

Steve was an avid Pirates baseball fan, but his passion for feeding people came before all else.
