East Brady hosts awareness walkEAST BRADY — The Hope For Broken Hearts support group of Mount Chestnut will hold a community awareness walk at 10 a.m. Sept. 24 in East Brady.The walk will start near the intersection of Route 68 and Water Street. The group will stop at several locations for brief prayers. Public Lands Day set at JenningsBRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, will offer an opportunity to help at the park to celebrate National Public Lands Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 24.Trail construction and rehabilitation will be the focus. Lunch and an event T-shirt will be provided. Participants must be at least 12.Monday is the registration deadline.
