BUFFALO TWP — Rick Eckert of York and Josh Richards of Shinnston, W.Va., won the 25-lap preliminary features Friday night as the World of Outlaws Late Models did battle at Lernerville Speedway.

The WoO Late Models will complete their weekend show Saturday night with a 75-lap feature paying $25,000 to the winner.

Eckert won Friday night’s first feature, beating out runner-up Brian Shirley of Chatham, Ill. John Flinner of Zelienople was the highest local finisher, taking seventh.

Michael Norris of Sarver finished second to Richards in the second feature. Alex Ferree of Saxonburg was eighth.

Jim Fosnaught of Bairdford won the Sportsman feature while Josh Deems of Volant won the RUSH Sportsman Modified feature.
