Thomas E. Bell Jr., 59, of Butler, passed away Thursday morning.

He was born March 19, 1957, in Uniontown, Pa., to the late Thomas E. Bell Sr. and Betty Jane (Hyjurick) Bell.

Thomas was a graduate of Butler Senior High School and an attendee of Slippery Rock University. He worked for Service Star and was an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler, as well as a coach for Butler Little League Baseball.

A loving and devoted father, he was preceded in death by his own father, Thomas E. Bell Sr.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Kathleen (Schramm) Bell; two sons, Brian M. Bell of Hardinsburg, Ky., and Jonathan T. Bell of Pittsburgh, Pa.; his mother, Betty Jane (Hyjurick) Bell of Butler; his sister, Debra M. Crusan (Bell) of Saxonburg; and numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
