Hazel G. McCormick, a resident of Arvada, Colo., and a former resident of Sarver, died Saturday after a short illness.

Born Nov. 9, 1924, Hazel will be remembered for her cheerfulness, kindness and her faith in Jesus Christ.

She was an executive secretary for DuCo Ceramics Co. for 20 years and a member of the Zion United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Vernon “Mack” McCormick.

She is survived by her son, Richard McCormick of Cabot; her daughter, Ina Sadulski of Arvada, Colo.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
