Robert Paul Resta of Guntersville, Ala., died peacefully in his sleep Monday at his home. At his bedside was his daughter, Paula Resta Finley.

He was the owner of Valley Graphics in Guntersville.

Robert was born in Pennsylvania, where he attended West Deer High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike Resta and Dorothea Trkula Resta; his sisters, Mildred Ferry of Valencia and Helen Bowen of Indian Trails, N.C.; and his brothers, Richard Resta of Enon Valley, Pa., and Walter Resta of Zelienople.

Besides his daughter, Robert is survived by his brother, Stephen Resta of Valencia; his sister, Elizabeth Resta Zoeller of Orlando, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His remains were donated to Science Care, a research facility in Colorado.
