State store sells lottery tickets
CRANBERRY TWP — One state Fine Wine & Spirits store in Butler County is part of the state’s move to allow lottery tickets to be sold at liquor stores, according to a list by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
The store in Cranberry Mall on Route 19 began selling lottery tickets this past week, after the PLCB received the legal authority earlier this year to sell tickets in its stores. The sales are part of the Act 39 liquor reforms that took effect this past week.
More than 170 wine and spirits stores are expected to start selling lottery tickets by Sept. 9, and more than 300 are expected by this fall.
