Margaret G. Palladino

Margaret G. Palladino, 82, of Zelienople, formerly of Connellsville, passed away Thursday while in the comfort of her own home.

Born Jan. 16, 1934, in Uniontown, she was the daughter of Michael Costello and Elizabeth (Worrick) Costello. Margaret was raised by Elizabeth's identical twin sister, Madeline.

Margaret was raised in Connellsville and graduated from the Allegheny General School of Nursing in 1954. She worked for the Connellsville State Hospital.

After moving to Zelienople, Margaret became a longtime member of St. Gregory Catholic Church. She worked for many years in the cafeteria of St. Gregory Parish School.

She enjoyed spending time with and nurturing her grandchildren, gardening and square dancing. Above all, Margaret was the ultimate wife, mother, grandmother and caregiver. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Cataldo “Jack” Palladino, who she married May 31, 1958; her children, Anthony (Jennifer) Palladino of Zelienople, John (Denise) Palladino of Jeannette and Mary Ann (James) Moser of Zelienople; and her grandchildren, Stephanie (John) Toniolo, Elizabeth and Rebecca Moser, and Michael and Joseph Palladino.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Madeline Costello; her birth mother, Elizabeth (Worrick) Costello; and her brother, Thomas Costello.

PALLADINO — The family of Margaret G. Palladino, who died Thursday, July 7, 2016, will welcome friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.She will be laid to rest at St. Gregory Catholic Church Cemetery.If desired, memorial donations may be made in Margaret's honor to St. Gregory School, 115 Pine St., Zelienople, PA 16063.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
