Michael A. Ness
Michael A. Ness, 43, of Butler died Sunday at his home.
Born Aug. 25, 1972, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Dennis (Phyllis) Ness of Butler and Joanne (Wesley) Balies of Murrells Inlet, S.C.
Michael was employed by Shields Asphalt Paving for 25 Years, where he found great devotion to his work.
He enjoyed boating and traveling to St. Thomas, where he and his wife owned property, and spending time along the Allegheny River.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie Spohn Ness; his daughter, Sydney M. Ness; his father, Dennis (Phyllis) Ness; his mother, Joanne (Wesley) Balies; two sisters, Kimberly (Mark) McKean and Amy Poston (Robert III), both of Butler; two nieces; two nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
