Maxine H. Meeder

Maxine H. Meeder, 57, of Lyndora died Monday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born May 28, 1959, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Dorothy Graves Meeder and the late Clyde Meeder.

Maxine was an artist. Her love of animals let her work with the Rainbow Pet Rescue. She was a diver in high school and belonged to the Rainbow Girls. She also enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gibsonia.

Surviving are her mother, Dorothy Meeder of Cranberry Township; her fiance, Daniel Taylor of Lyndora; her stepdaughter, Danielle Marie Taylor of Lyndora; her stepson, Jason John Taylor of Cranberry Township; her twin sisters, Patricia Meeder of N.J., and Pamela Meeder of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Brian (Sarah) Meeder of Cranberry Township and Bruce (Yvonne) Meeder of Harrisburg, Pa.; three nieces, Grace N., Jessica and Alissa Meeder; and two nephews, Noah and Christopher Meeder.

MEEDER — Friends of Maxine H. Meeder, who died Monday, July 4, 2016, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Darcy Hawk, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Gibsonia, officiating.
