Albert "Woody" Druschel

Albert “Woody” Druschel, 67, of Cranberry Township passed away Wednesday while in the comfort of his home.

Born Jan. 10, 1949, in Evans City, he was the beloved son of Dorothy (Selle) Wright and the late Howard Druschel.

Woody proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

He owned and operated the Wind Haven Lounge in Cranberry Township for more than 36 years.

He was a longtime member of the Cranberry Elks Lodge 2249. Woody will be admired as a great man with a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. Life won't be the same without his jokes, but above all, he will be remembered most as a proud husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his mother, Woody leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Patty (Rice) Druschel; two children, Brian Druschel of Cranberry Township and Jamie Druschel of Cranberry Township; his daughter-in-law, Wayan, of Cranberry Township; his brother, Barry Druschel and his wife, Karen, of Allison Park; and three grandchildren, Courtney, Brandon and Hannah.

In addition to his father, Woody was preceded in death by his son, Chad Druschel; and his brother, Jerry Lee Druschel.

DRUSCHEL — The family of Albert “Woody” Druschel, who died Wednesday, June 29, 2016, will welcome friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A funeral ceremony with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Zonts officiating.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Woody's honor in support of the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with his family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
