Gary Blauser Sr.

Gary Blauser, Sr., 74, of Boyers passed away Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Gary was born March 30, 1942, in Hilliards. He was the son of the late Cecil Blauser and the late Erla Reedy Blauser Miller.

Gary was self-employed for more than 40 years as a truck driver. He loved to hunt.

Gary is survived by three daughters, Robin (Lenny) Podvasnik of Cochranton, Pa., Garilyn (Steve) Montgomery of Boyers and Sondra (Joe) Robertson of Alabama; two sons, Gary (Amanda) Blauser Jr. of Boyers and Cecil (Molly) Blauser II of Hooker; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by one son, G. Dewayne “Dewey” Blauser; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.

BLAUSER — The family of Gary Blauser, Sr., who died Monday, June 27, 2016, will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Warinner, a family friend, officiating.
