Lemoine Garl “Bud” Kelley

Lemoine Garl “Bud” Kelley, 82, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday at his home.

Born Aug. 31, 1933, in Franklin, Pa., he was the son of Rolland Garl Kelley and Evelyn Bradley Kelley.

Bud served in the U.S. Air Force as a master sergeant for 20 years, which was followed by working at Applied Sciences Associates and 20 years at Compunetics.

He was a member of the Saxonburg VFW Post 7376 and the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora. He deeply enjoyed family time, tinkering with electronics and dancing. He especially enjoyed teaching others.

Surviving are his wife, A. Louise Babcock Kelley, who he married Aug. 28, 1953; his sons, Michael L. (Sandra) Kelley of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Timothy D. (Patricia Ruth) Kelley of Butler; five daughters, Debra C. Nuhfer of Oil City, Donna Eubanks of Sarver, Nancy (Paul) Metal of Thurmont, Md., Patricia (Don) Richards of Butler and Janet (John) Wachter of Butler; one brother, Richard (Alice) Kelley of Cherry Hill, N.C.; one sister, Sandra Madden of West Chester, Pa.; 20 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

KELLEY — Friends of Lemoine Garl “Bud” Kelley, who died Sunday, June 26, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Andrew DeFusco officiating.
