Woman injured in car rollover
MIDDLESEX TWP — A Kittanning woman was injured Thursday when her car veered off the road and rolled over multiple times.
The crash happened about 12:20 p.m. on Glade Mill Road near the intersection with Logan Road.
Donna Ansein, 54, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital by Quality EMS with moderate injuries, said Sgt. Randy Reudiger, officer in charge of the Middlesex Township police.
She was driving her Chevy Cruze west and went off the road on a curve. The car hit a mailbox, a street sign and rolled over several times before landing on its roof in a grass yard.
Firefighters cut the passenger-side door off the car to help Ansein out, though she was not entrapped.
Traffic on the road was limited to one lane for less than an hour.
Penn Township and Middlesex Township volunteer fire departments and Penn Township police assisted.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
