Robert Middendorf Sr.
Robert Middendorf Sr., 84, of Kittanning passed away peacefully Saturday at the Armstrong County Health Center.
He was born June 30, 1931, to the late William J. Middendorf and the late Edith M. (Cranmer) Middendorf.
Robert served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked as a car salesman his entire life.
Robert was an avid Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Robert is survived by his ex-wife, Lucy Gurner; two daughters, Charmaine E. Ulisky and her husband, Tracy, of Lyndora and Mona L. Lavenets of New Mexico; three sons, William Middendorf of Erie, Pa., Robert Middendorf Jr. and Clark Middendorf, both of Slippery Rock; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and his dog, Pee-Wee.
He also is survived by one sister, Betty Jane Middendorf.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Candy S. Middendorf.
Robert was a wonderful man and he will be missed very much by his children.
At his request, there will be no viewing.
