CRANBERRY TWP — Township police on Tuesday arrested the woman accused of fleeing an officer and hitting two vehicles on Route 228 last week.

Nicole C. Graef, 29, of East Palestine, Ohio, was arraigned Tuesday afternoon by District Judge Dave Kovach. She was released the same day on a $10,000 unsecured bond.

Graef on June 29 allegedly led officer Ryan Slack on a high-speed chase when she drove through a red light at the intersection of Freedom Road and Route 19.

During the chase, she allegedly struck two other vehicles, but no one was reported injured.

Police lost sight of her vehicle after she turned onto Franklin Road, but police did get her license number and issued it to nearby police.

She faces nine charges, including one count of felony fleeing or attempting to elude an officer. She is scheduled to appear in district court Aug. 5.
