William J. “Bill” Patton

William J. “Bill” Patton, 54, of Kittanning passed away Sunday at ACMH.

He was born Dec. 14, 1961, in Kittanning, the son of Lawrence H. Patton Sr. and Annabelle (Detrie) Patton. Bill graduated from Kittanning High School in 1979 and was a Protestant.

Throughout his life he worked for Bauer Block, Glacial Sand and Gravel, and most recently, Eljer. Bill also was the caregiver for his mother for several years.

In his free time, he enjoyed landscaping and woodworking. He also loved listening to music and riding his bicycle. Bill will be best remembered for his love and dedication to his friends and will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother, Lawrence H. “Junior” Patton Jr. and his wife, Barb, of Kittanning; his sister, Shirley A. Barnhart and her husband, Keith, of Chicora; his nieces and nephews, Tricia M. Clark and her husband, Leland, Bradley Patton and his wife, Sarah, Jeffrey Patton and Juliann Patton and her fiance, Brett Yockey; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gracie Patton, Tristan Clark and Dulcinea Clark; several cousins; and close friends Kelly Rettig, Phil Moore and Mike Lasher.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

PATTON — Relatives and friends of William J. Patton, who died Sunday, June 5, 2016, may visit from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning.Additional visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev.
