Marj Vincent

Marj Vincent, 60, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Valencia, passed away Monday.

Born June 21, 1955, in Cabot, she was the daughter of Lucille (Weleski) Green of Sarver and the late Vincent J. Green Sr.

She was the beloved wife for 34 years of Mark P. Vincent, who she married Aug. 25, 1981, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cabot; the loving mother of Eric Vincent of Fort Myers, Fla., and Brittany (Brian) Cappucci of Fort Myers, Fla; the sister of Deb (Dan) Fritz of Valencia, Vincent Green Jr. of Sarver and Bev (Mark) Landry of Glenshaw; and the daughter-in-law of Sophie Vincent of Butler.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marj was a 1973 graduate of Knoch High School, a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in business education and earned a master's degree from University of Pittsburgh.

She was the longtime co-owner with her husband, Mark, of VAI Computerland of Pittsburgh.

A former member of Holy Sepulcher Church in Middlesex, she was a current member of Next Level Church in Fort Myers, Fla. Marj was a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow, Parent of the Year recipient for Pennsylvania West Soccer, vice-president of the Striker Soccer Club, a Mars School District board member, president of South Butler County Women's Club, a member of Holy Sepulcher Life Teen Core Team, active with Honduras Medical Mission and a volunteer with the Butler Lifeline.

Marj's smile and infectious personality touched the lives of countless friends and colleagues both in her home community in Butler County and in Fort Myers, Fla. She will be dearly missed.

VINCENT — Memorial Mass of Christian burial and celebration of the life of Marj Vincent, who died Monday, May 30, 2016, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot. The Rev. Ward Stakem will be the celebrant.Arrangements are being handled by Schellhaas Funeral Home in Bakerstown.
