Frank Comer Jr. passed away Monday at Concordia at Cabot Assisted Living.

He was born Jan. 4, 1927, in Covington, Va., to the late Frank Comer Sr. and Ethel (Tucker) Comer.

He is survived by his son, Larry (Donna) Comer of Butler; his sister, Mildred McGuigan of Murrysville, Pa.; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Muriel (Bachman) Comer; his second wife, Velma (Smail) Comer; and his son, Frank Comer III.

COMER — At the request of Frank Comer Jr., who died Monday, May 30, 2016, there will be no visitation.
