Lois Daubenspeck
Lois Irene Daubenspeck, 88, of Boyers passed away at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at her son's home in Jamestown, Pa.
Born Aug. 12, 1927, in Boyers, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Edith Neely Weiss. She attended the former Harrisville High School.
In her earlier years, she enjoyed camping and fishing, and more recently, she enjoyed planting flowers and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved dog, Abby.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Pirates fan.
Lois was of Catholic faith and attended St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Boyers.
On Aug. 19, 1988, she married Darrell Daubenspeck and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, George Henry and his wife, Brenda, of Jamestown and Ralph Henry and his wife, Sandy, of Hermitage: six stepchildren, David W. “Bill” Daubenspeck of Harrisville, Renee Hewitt and her husband, Jay, of Boyers, Susan Grossman and her husband, Mark, of Boyers, Stacey Wolinski and her husband, Bob, of Butler, Scott Daubenspeck and his wife, Jeanne, of Kittanning and Mark Daubenspeck and his wife, April, of Karns City: nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, George L. Henry and John A. Gorencic; a son, Robert Henry: two grandchildren, Nicholas Daubenspeck and Diana Henry: two sisters; and one brother.
Lois was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
