Mima M. Sipes
Mima M. Sipes, 85, of Harmony passed away Tuesday at Creek Meadows Senior Guest Haus.
Born June 21, 1930, in Clear-field, she was the daughter of the late William and Leona (Hewitt) Cartwright.
Mima was a faithful member of Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church. She was formerly active in the community in card clubs and in the preschool. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Chris Sipes of Harmony, Robert Sipes of Tarboro, N.C., and Donald C. Sipes Jr., of Buffalo, N.Y.; her eight grandchildren, Eric (Tanya), Jessica, Gregory, Devero (Crissy), Joseph (Amanda), Stephanie, Kristi and Jeromy Sipes; her four great-grandchildren, Brayon and Serenity Tubbs and Isabella and Alton Sipes; her brothers, Gordon (Gloria) Cartwright of Virginia and Daniel (Joyce) Cartwright of Woodland, Pa.; and her sister, Norma Jean (Carl) Vogel of Manheim, Pa.
In addition to her parents, Mima was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald C. Sipes Sr., who passed away Jan. 12, 2014; and one grandchild, David Sipes.
SIPES — The family of Mima M. Sipes, who died Tuesday, May 17, 2016, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
