Andrew John “Butch” Potyka
Andrew John “Butch” Potyka, 55, of Butler died unexpectedly Tuesday.
Born Dec. 11, 1960, in Butler, he was a son of Andrew M. Potyka and Patricia M. (Ordy) Potyka.
Andrew was a 1978 graduate of Butler High School and was well-known in the Butler area for his culinary expertise. He enjoyed landscaping, decorating, cooking, baking cookies and had loved his hunting camp in Brookston, Pa.
He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Patricia Potyka of Butler; three sisters, Deborah Condon of New Jersey, Tamara (Stephen) Varva of Butler and Victoria (John) Ewing of Butler; five nieces and nephews, Lindsie Varva, Andrea Condon, Jessica Condon, Stephanie Varva and Michael Alexander; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
POTYKA — There will not be a public visitation for Andrew John “Butch” Potyka, who died Tuesday, May 17, 2016.
