Jacqueline M. (Miksic) Maloney

Jacqueline M. (Miksic) Maloney, 55, of Cranberry Township passed away Friday.

“Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!” (Matthew 25:23)

Born April 22, 1961, in Pittsburgh, she was the beloved daughter of Richard “Rick” and Patricia (Engelhardt) Miksic of Shaler.

Jacki was a longtime, faithful member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township, where she proudly served as an eucharistic minister. Her love for her parish allowed her to become a member of the Women Gathered Ministry and to also volunteer at the Gleaners Food Bank. Jacki also volunteered at UPMC Passavant Cranberry Place and Sherwood Oaks, visiting residents and administering communion.

A true artist, Jacki was a well-respected and valued employee of Mathew Jewelers for over 10 years. Through her strong belief in faith, she was a source of joy and inspiration and this gift sustained her in her role as a devoted mother, companion, daughter, grammy, sister, aunt, co-worker and dear friend.

Jacki will be most remembered as a woman with a heart of gold and a lover of God's creation and nature. She especially loved watching the sunset and taking walks. Through her selfless acts and deeds, Jacki was the personification of grace. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

In addition to her parents, Jacki leaves behind to cherish her memory, three loving daughters, Katherine “Katie” Maloney of Cranberry Township, Megan Doane and her husband, Tom, of Bridgeville and Allyson Maloney of Cranberry Township; two adored grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan Doane; her life companion, Tom Caras of Cranberry Township; her brother, Mark Miksic of Millvale; her sister, Janet Pino (Jerry) of Shaler; and two nieces, Marcy Miksic (Jorge Lima) of Millvale and Michelle Miksic and her fiance, Ryan Erb, of Shaler.

MALONEY — The family of Jacqueline M. (Miksic) Maloney, who died Friday, May 13, 2016, will welcome friends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, with the Rev. John Gallagher as celebrant.Friends are asked to please meet at the church.She will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mt.
