Shawn Marcellus struck out 10 and tossed a complete game Thursday as Meridian defeated Butler City, 9-1, in legion baseball.

Marcellus doubled and had two RBI in the win. Ryan Lynn had a double, single, two RBI and two runs scored, Jace Stutz contributed two singles and an RBI, Sam Gross a single, two runs scored and two RBI. Derran Bergbigler had a single and two runs scored.

Colter Cavalero had two singles and an RBI for Butler City.
