Mike Patsch gave up just one hit in six-plus innings as Cranberry Township blanked Mars 3-0 in Eagle County League baseball action over the weekend.

Patsch struck out seven in the win. Joel Schaffner picked up the save.

Bill Clinefelter drove in a run with a double and John Bittner, Brandon Pouch and Vince Russieri also doubled for Cranberry.

Dan Penberthy had Mars’ only hit.

Eagle County action continues today with Mars playing at Pine-Richland, Mars II at Zelienople and Cranberry at the Mars Sliders.
