William James Haas, 68, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born July 1, 1947, in Butler, the son of the late Lawrence Haas and Catherine (Fisher) Haas.

William was a veteran of U.S. Navy having served in Vietnam.

He was employed at VA Butler Healthcare Medical Center.

Surviving are his friends, Ronald, Belinda and Sarah Ganster of Butler and Gracie Ganster.
