Judith A. Sloan
Judith A. Sloan, 69, of Lime Plant Road, Parker, Perry Township, Clarion County, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday afternoon at her home surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with both multiple sclerosis and cancer.
Judith was born July 5, 1946, in Butler. She was the daughter of the late Sharon L. and Anna R. Lesser McHenry.
She was a member of the Parker Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, camping, boating and the company of her dog, Megan. Judy was a devoted grandmother and most especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a 1964 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Emlenton. Judy attended Slippery Rock State College and graduated from Butler Beauty School.
In her earlier years, she had been employed at the Quaker State oil refining corporation in Emlenton and the Wolf's Den Restaurant in Knox. She retired following more than 10 years of service at Staab Typographic and the Progress News in Emlenton.
Judy's family would like her to be most remembered for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory A. Sloan, who she married Feb. 14, 1986, in Chicora. The couple recently celebrated their 30th anniversary.
She also is survived by three children, Gary D. Page and his wife, Melissa, of Pasadena, Md., Janeen M. Page Ferguson of Pittsburgh and Robert K. Sloan and his wife, Dawn M., of East Brady, and nine grandchildren, Alexa, Caden, Levi, Brady, Brock, Dakota, Johnathan, Rylee and Dawson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John McHenry; her son, Brian E. Sloan; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Durland E. “Pat” and Doris Z. Sloan.

Sloan, who died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hile Funeral Home, 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton.A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
