Lucinda M. “Cindy” Montgomery

Lucinda M. “Cindy” Montgomery, 62, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 21, 1953, in Butler, she was the daughter of Edward H. Ruediger and Rose (Cook) Ruediger

Cindy was a graduate of Butler High School. She worked as an ophthalmic technician. She was also the secretary and bookkeeper of the Grand Rental Station in Butler.

Cindy enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her granddaughters.

Surviving are her husband, Douglas P. Montgomery, who she married March 15, 1997; her mother, Rose Ruediger of Sarver; her daughter, Kristen (Jim) Stewart of Cowansville; her son, John McFarland of Butler; four grandchildren, Dakota, Angelina, Piper and Ziva; and her brothers, Ronald (Tammy) Ruediger of Fenelton and Randy (Jill) Ruediger of Valencia.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edward H. Ruediger; her infant daughter, Michelle; and her brother, Edward W. Ruediger.
