Barbara “Barb” Matko Goettler, 79, of Surfside Beach, S.C., passed away Monday.

She was born June 22, 1936, in Arcadia, Pa., daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Frances Zimmerman Matko and was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Goettler.

Barb was an avid bowler and reader, and was a loving mother and loved being involved with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband and lifemate, George Nathan Stanley; her children, Bruce Goettler and his wife, Polly, of Butler, John Goettler and Janice of Surfside Beach, Bobby Goettler and Kimmie of Myrtle Beach, Steve Goettler and Jennifer of Butler and Jeannie Sutton and her husband, JT, of Morgantown, W.Va.

She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Gabriel, Anthony, Alex, David, Jessica, Matthew, Margaret, Laura, Megan, Gideon, Anna, Ella, Chase and Amelia; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Ryker.
