Thomas C. Sinz

Thomas C. Sinz, 78, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away March 27 surrounded by his family after a bout with cancer.

Tom was the son of Paul Sinz Sr. and Helen Sinz Reese. He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Rajchel; his son, Mark (Suzy) of Clearwater, Fla.; his daughters, Dianne Nielsen of Woodridge, Ill., and Patricia (David) Schaefer of Cave Creek, Ariz., and his grandchildren, Ryan, Logan, Derek, Rachel, Emily and Kathleen.

Tom graduated from Butler High School in 1955 and attended school in Phoenix, Ariz., after being honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force.

After working for the meat industry since 1961, mainly in Chicago, Ill., Tom retired to Florida in 2011.

He is survived by four siblings, Paul (Connie) Sinz, Alyce Ann (Jim) Daum, Carole (Frank) Rajchel, and Michael (Cathy) Sinz Reese. He also is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robert and Nancy Rajchel.
