They include:Class AAAKnoch and Mars will both be involved in a doubleheader Monday at Highlands High School.The defending WPIAL and PIAA champion Knights (12-6) will play Section 2 champion Yough (11-4) at 4 p.m.Section 5 champion Mars (12-5) will face Indiana (9-8) at 6:30 p.m.Freeport (13-6) will take on Section 3 champion Montour (13-3) at 2 p.m. Monday at Shaler’s Matulevic Field.Class ACardinal Wuerl North Catholic (13-6), co-champion of Section 4, will play Sewickley Academy (8-4) at 4 p.m. Tuesday at North Allegheny.

MAC hosting Mars lacrosse doubleheaderADAMS TWP — The Mars Athletic Complex will host a WPIAL Division II lacrosse playoff doubleheader on Wednesday.In a girls quarterfinal clash, Mars (13-3) will play Hempfield (8-2) at 6 p.m.At 7:30 p.m., Mars’ boys (16-1) will face the winner of Monday’s game between Latrobe and Gateway.Butler girls hitting the road — The Golden Tornado (11-4) will travel to Blackhawk (14-1) for a Division II quarterfinal at 7 p.m. Friday.
