Dominic F. Kovach

Dominic F. Kovach of Willingboro, N.J., formerly of Lyndora, passed away Thursday at home with his family.

Born Aug. 3, 1941, in Lyndora, he was the son of the late Stephen M. and Ludricka (Zahradnik) Kovach. He was the youngest of 11 children.

He was in the U.S. Air Force for nine years, traveling to South Carolina, France, Washington, D.C., the Philippines and Nevada.

He settled down in New Jersey, marrying Nancyann (Clark) Kovach of Riverside, N.J., on Nov. 23, 1968. They had one son, Brian N. Kovach.

He worked with New Jersey transit from 1969 to 2003 with many commendations. He was a member of the Slovak Sokol Society in Butler, the Roman Catholic Church and the American Legion Post 146 Riverside as past commander.

He also is survived by his sisters, Margaret Sheppeck of Renfrew, Pauline Maillet of Butler, Agnes Terbovich of Butler and Teresa Foeuler (Roy) of Pittsburgh; many nieces and nephews; and his brothers-in-law, Allen Clark and David Clark.

He was preceded in death by his five brothers and his sister.

KOVACH — Relatives and friends of Dominic F. Kovach, who died Thursday, April 7, 2016, are invited to Dominic's visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lankenau Funeral Home, 303 Bridgeboro St., Riverside, N.J., where his service will be at 11 a.m.Interment with military honors will be at the Brigadier General William C.
